Etam is an emblematic player in the retail clothing sector in France, and is present worldwide. At the end of 2019, ETAM required Kbrw to reinvent the OMS experience. ETAM wanted to improve the global sourcing of all their orders transiting from many channels and rationalize the click & collect and ship from store customer experiences.
Etam wanted to decommission its old OMS, which lacked flexibility and auditability, and replace it with a versatile tool capable of routing more than 30 000 orders per day. The newly designed tool had to be ready quickly due to the closing of the stores because of the pandemic.
Reusing the reliable technical interfaces to Salesforce e-commerce, SAP, Diatly Marketplaces and the POS of ETAM, implemented in the first batch of the project, Kbrw managed to orchestrate end-to-end orders. Implementing from scratch a strong sourcing process, the OMS is today the central software of the ETAM’s IT ecosystem. At the end of 2020, ETAM called back Kbrw to enhance the sourcing process in order to increase sourcing auditability, reduce lead-time, avoid multishipping, and increase shipping margins. This new batch has just been delivered and enables to propose orders to several stores at the same time.
“The implementation of a high performance OMS by Kbrw has given us the flexibility to increase our omnichannel strategy in our different markets, but also to be more responsive to our customers' needs and ensure the best possible experience.”
