As part of their plan to modernize their after-sales business activity, Renault Retail Group was looking to roll out a new warehouse and inventory management solution in their spare parts points of sale, which also act as wholesaler outlets.
The group wanted to optimize existing picking, slotting and goods flow operations in their warehouses. They also wanted to acquire a management tool which would provide an overview of the status and performance of warehouses. The group were looking for a user-friendly and intuitive tool.
Kbrw designed a comprehensive warehouse picking solution and integrated the related tools to enable goods receipt, order preparation, delivery and package tracking to be managed in an optimized and digital way. The solution includes a monitoring tool which provides a full overview of warehouse statuses and allows operations to be managed centrally. Kbrw’s WMS solution was hailed as a genuine success by staff. It helped to considerably improve productivity, data accuracy and working conditions in general. The next step of the project is to include a tool that generates and manages general and cycle inventory counts, before proceeding with a roll-out across stores in France, and then worldwide.
